MODERN EXTENSION CONSTRUCTION
What Is a hup! Extension?
A hup! extension gives you the space and finished appearance of a conventional home extension but uses a precision-manufactured wall and roof system in place of traditional brick and block construction. Urban Edge installs hup! extensions throughout Poole, Bournemouth and the surrounding Dorset area.
The insulated wall panels are manufactured off site and assembled at your property, helping to reduce the amount of structural work, mess and disruption normally associated with building an extension.
It doesn't mean compromising on design either. Windows, doors, roof styles, external finishes and internal layouts can all be configured around your home and the space you want to create. Ultraframe currently offers hup! with glass, hybrid, tiled and flat roof systems.
BUILT DIFFERENTLY
The Technology Behind hup!
Insulated Wall System
hup! uses highly insulated Ultrapanels in place of traditional cavity walls. The wall system achieves a U-value of 0.17 W/m²K, providing excellent thermal performance while using a slimmer wall construction than many traditional building methods.
Precision Manufactured
Components are manufactured to specification before arriving on site, reducing cutting, waste and assembly work during the build.
Engineered Roof Systems
Choose from glass, hybrid, tiled or flat roof designs, allowing the finished extension to range from light-filled conservatory styling to a more substantial contemporary room.
Lower-Carbon Manufacture
Ultraframe states that hup! is 60% more carbon efficient to manufacture than brick construction, alongside reduced on-site waste.

We cover areas including Lilliput, Canford Cliffs, Lower Parkstone, Westbourne and surrounding parts of Bournemouth and Poole. Every project starts with the property itself, allowing us to look at the available space, existing structure and the way you want the finished room to work before recommending the right design.
